Snowboard Needlepoint Ornament

This one is for the friend who has never once taken the lift back down. A teal board with a bold orange wave running tip to tail, little binding dots stitched in, and a navy and white twisted cord for hanging, it looks like it just came off a very good run and is ready for the apres portion of the evening.

Furbish calls it palm-sized, made to hang on a tree or clip onto a stocking, and that is exactly where it shines. The long, slim shape slips between branches that a round bauble would crowd, and the bright teal reads from across the room against all that green. It is just as happy tied to the top of a gift bag in place of a bow, or hung from a rearview mirror on the drive up to the mountain.

Perfect for: snowboarders, ski trip hosts, chalet and cabin trees, ornament exchanges, stocking stuffers for the person who already owns all the gear, and anyone counting down to opening day.
